The Russian Air Transport Settlement System (ATSS)

The Russian Air Transport Settlement System (ATSS) was created following the model of the global settlement systems ASP ARC (USA) and BSP IATA and has been operating since 1993 throughout the territory of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries under the management of the Airlines' Settlement Control Council (CCS).

ATSS mission:

▪ To optimize the processes of settlement for sold air transport and ancillary services

▪ To ensure 100% timely settlement between ATSS participants

Mission

To provide services for the organization of the sale of air transport and ancillary services by agencies on ATSS Standard Traffic Documents (STDs) — electronic tickets (ETs) and electronic miscellaneous documents (EMDs) — in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan
To facilitate the sale of air transport and ancillary services, to issue reports and, to settle revenue between airlines/ancillary services suppliers and agencies.
To reduce the expenses of the project participants by optimizing the due dates of settlement between airlines / service suppliers and agencies.
To eliminate the risks of revenue losses resulting from financial insolvency of the project's participants.
